The orphan Mary Lennox is brought to her uncle Craven`s castle in England. The castle is filled with secrets. Uncle Craven, who feels deep sorrow because his beloved wife Lily has just passed away, is not very good with children. He keeps Lily`s garden locked and leaves it completely overgrown. In charge of his castle is the mean Mrs. Medlock. But Mary will not be scared away: Whose voice does she hear weeping at night? Where is the key granting access to the secret garden? Along with the maid Martha and her brother Dickon she breaks the spell...
